Frequently Asked Questions


1. Are you a full-time photographer?

Yes, I am. Photography is my one and only occupation, which allows me to concentrate fully on my clients.

2. Are you insured?

Yes. I have full professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

Some venues will ask photographers to provide a copy of their public liability insurance in order to allow them to work on their site and I am always happy to oblige them, should this be necessary.

3. Are you available for same-sex weddings and civil partnerships?

Yes. Absolutely!

4. Are the photos on your website from real weddings or from courses, with models?

All of the wedding photography you see in my website is 100% from real weddings I've photographed. I have never photographed set up weddings with models.

5. What happens if you are ill or have an accident and cannot make it to our wedding day?

I would have to be very ill indeed not to make it to your wedding however as this is never beyond the realms of possibility, I would call upon a professional colleague from my network to attend your big day.

Whereas this is not ideal given the different styles of photography, I would strive to arrange for someone whose style closely matches mine, though this cannot be guaranteed. I would certainly only call upon a professional and competent photographer to cover your day if, for unavoidable reasons, I cannot make it.

I always encourage clients to have wedding insurance, just in case, as they would be able to compensate you should something more serious happen, or if you'd want to make alternative arranngements yourself.

6. Do you use professional equipment?

I only use Canon professional level cameras and prime lenses.

7. Do you travel further afield if we are not in Warwickshire?

Yes, I am happy to photograph weddings anywhere in the UK.

8. Do you charge for travel?

For weddings over 50 miles from CV10 9BU I charge 75 pence per mile.

For weddings over 100 miles away, when it would not be practical or possible for me to travel in the morning of your wedding, I would require accomodation at a local Travelodge, or similar, for the night before your wedding and the night after the wedding.

The cost of travel and accomodation, if necessary, would be added to the cost of your package and fully disclosed at the time of booking.

I currently do not photograph weddings outside the UK.
